Question about EMH and fireworks?

Hello all, I've been a lurker for a while of the boards while planning our upcoming vacation for late March.

I have a question about the Magic Hours. We're planning to stick to the parks with emh's to get the most out of our stay. We realize it will probably be busier but are preparing ourselves for that.

My question is on the Disney website the calendar says that on March 22 MK is open until 11pm and also says that they're are nighttime emh hours. Do you know then what time the park will close that night? I know some of the emh have the park open up to 3 hours later but would they keep it open until 2am??

We also have reservations at Ohana that night for around 9pm. I thought I read somewhere that you could see the fireworks at the MK from that restaurant. Is that still possible and if the fireworks are scheduled at 10 that night do you think we have a possibility of seeing them while we eat? (I was thinking that we would have to wait to get seated for a bit and have somewhere around an hour long dinner? so that might put us there for it)

We were wondering about the emh because we aren't sure if it would be worth it to head back to the park after dinner depending on how late it is going to stay open.

Thanks in advance for any info!

You should only do EMH if you have park hopper tickets and can get away from the EMH parks for most of the day, hopping to a much less crowded park.

Evening EMH are always until 3 hours past the normal closing time. So yes, MK will be open until 2 AM. Unless they change the park hours before then.

I'm not sure. We've never eaten at 'Ohana during the fireworks.

Dinner at 'Ohana usually takes a bit less than an hour, because the food is constantly being cooked and is therefore ready almost immediately. You could linger to stretch it a bit, and if you have kids with you they could kill some time with the entertainer.
