Can anyone tell me if each person needs a resort room key to get in for EE? Do they swipe them or do you just show them?

We will have my nephew with us for one day (an EE day at MK) but he is not staying with us--BIL is dropping him off to spend the day in the park. Will we have aproblem getting him in for EE?

everyone will need a pass. you will put them in the "machine" as you are entering the park.

So if you have a park hopper--you have to put the hopper and the room key through for EE?

no just your pass. unless you have the pass on the key. sometimes you can do that at checkin.

as long as your party is using regular park hoppers and not UPHs (length of stay passes that are on your room key) you should be fine. We did this as well. Sis-in-law lives in Tampa, we were staying at the swan, she came for the day, we wanted to do EE so we went with just 1 room key, it got all 3 of us in, they don't swipe them, they just look at them
