Question about ECV rental at DL

Hi there,
Yesterday I was told that I have a hernia. I am going to DL in 2 weeks and I need to know if I need a note from my DR to rent an ECV since it hurts to walk/stand for prolong periods of time.

Nope! No note needed to get a wheelchair! You may want to look into offsite rentals, depending on where you are staying...

If you are staying onsite at DLR, Guest Services at your hotel can assist you. I don't remember the name of the scooter company we used, but I think they tend to use the same one consistently. I will try to find a number for you!

It was Scooter Village, 714-956-5633. DH even called them at about 8pm on a Sunday because he couldn't find the plug-in on the scooter. They were there and had him sorted in about a minute! They were AWESOME!
