question about DTD on New Years Eve

Heading down in 13 days, 5th trip but have never been to DTD. We have PS and then tickets to Cirque on New Years Eve (9:00 show). My question is, when they do the fireworks at Pleasure Island, can you see them anywhere in DTD or do you have to be in PI?

You can see most of them from right in front of the Cirque Store (over the House of Blues)... but if you walk closer to PI down by Planet Hollywood you would have a better view

You can see them from Cirque for sure, but if you walk closer to DTD you'll see them better, and also the lasers too, they whip those out from time to time and they're pretty cool....not to mention the confetti they shoot out after the fireworks!!
