Question about drop and pick up using Avis

We are planning on renting from Avis. Since I will be traveling with a 3 year old and my mother, is it possible to drop the luggage off first and then take the rental car to Avis?

Upon returning, can I leave my Mom and son at the port, go get the car and then drive through to pick them up? This just seems a lot easier than trying to carry all the luggage to and from Avis?

Mine was gone about 20-30 minutes. We parked ourselves and our 15 bags (okay there WERE 7 of us!) on the benches in the front of the terminal along the curb. Don't take all your luggage over to the shuttle pick up!

Last Saturday we waited over 45 minutes for the Avis Shuttle to come to the port to pick us up. Finally the husbands jumped on the Radisson shuttle to go get the cars. They claimed they were down one driver but I'm not sure. Be prepared to wait a little!

Another Avis question...debating what size car to get. We are a family of 4. Me, DH, DD6 and DS4. What size car? Only using it to go from MCO to Radisson. Was think to just go w/an intermediatte. They say its an Alero or similar. Does anyone have a discount rate code I could use?

We are a family of four with same aged kids. We got the intermediate size and I barely fit it all in...2 large suitcases, a garment bag, a carryon, 2 knapsacks and one duffle bag. I believe the car was a Buick Century. I would not go smaller if you have similar amount of luggage. I used the code on mousesavers.com for Florida residents. From MCO to Radisson was $40.

I am using Avis in January and booked two one-way rental. One from the airport to the Rad and one from the Rad to t he Airport on the other end.

I always get either a minivan or SUV. with luggage I find the intermediates to be too small.

I used a code on mousesavers for Avis. It started with a D.

I booked the compact, I believe it was supposed to be a cavalier. There are only three of us. My husband has a prism that we take to the airport (same car as a toyota corola) and we have no problem fitting our luggage. Will the compact be big enough? The car is just to transport us to/from the port.

I know for sure we will have one very large piece of luggage, one duffle bag and two carry ons. The intermediate looked by the description that we would fit. The full size looks like it would fit the same luggage as the intermediate. Hey after all the money I'm paying for the cruise whats another $5 - 10 bucks.
