Question about Dreams Unlimited? HELP...

I requested a quote from Dreams Unlimited, as soon as I found out about the Free Dining.

I do have the Disney Visa, however, when I got an email back from them they said under the new Disney Visa free dining discount an immediate $200.00 deposit (paid with the Visa) is required. They want my credit card info to book this...but they never even told me how much my total is?? I want to know how much and what my details are BEFORE I make up my mind. Anybody else encounter this with DU??

I'm confused.

I think I would send them another e-mail asking for a price quote. I wonder if maybe the messed up? I have used Dreams before and they have always quoted me a price before I gave them any money.

Email the agent and ask him/her if they will let you know the pricing with the free dining on this.
It is true that with the Disney Visa offer it cannot be BOOKED for you without the deposit at the time of booking, but the agent can provide you a quote (keep in mind that with quotes that availablity can be an issue if the room is not held when quoted the room availablity can change.)

I emailed DU again, stating that I think it is odd that they want me to book with my VISA without first known the cost of the trip.

DU's response is that Disney needs my VISA number to quote a reservation. Its Disney's way of preventing non-Disney VISA holders from booking before April 6.

This doesn't seem right to me. Obviously, if I decide to book with them I will HAVE to give them my Disney VISA number at that time. I was just looking for a quote.
