Question about dorm bedding

I am sending my second child off to college this fall. When buying her older brother's dorm bedding, I bought an inexpensive vinyl (plastic?) zippered enclosure for the dorm mattress for the purpose of protecting against bedbugs, dustmites, allergens, spills, etc. I paid $10 or so for these at Linens 'n Things and threw them away at the end of the school year. Linens 'n Things has since gone out of business, and I can't find any similar products for less than $69 or so. I have to buy two this year, and I'm looking for something inexpensive that I can throw away at the end of the year. Any suggestions?????? Thanks!

Not sure about other dorms, but mine last year actually came with one of those on it. Maybe you could call her school and ask? The people at Res. Life should know

Try Kohl's. I bought them for my DS bed when he moved from a crib. They were 5 or 10.

Walmart has the plastic ones. I just purchased on at Homegoods last night for 14.99. There are many places online. www.dormbuys.com is a great site. They have lots of very reasonable items.

I have looked at Kohl's and JCPenney. They need to come in size Twin XL. Amazon looks to be a good possibility! Thanks for the replies and let me know if anyone has any other suggestions!

I don't remember the price, but I bought DD's anti allergen one at Walmart. (It was under $20...) Be sure to check if they need extra long or not, though!
