Last trip, we had breakfast at Restaurantosaurus with an early ADR. We finished breakfast about 10 minutes before the park opened. One of the waiters escorted a group of us over to EE. We got there ahead of the crowd of people who were entering the park. We were able to ride on the first train!!!

This year, I've made an early morning ADR at Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House. Looking at the map, Tusker House is a considerable distance away from EE. I wanted to find out if anyone has had an early ADR here, do the waiters still escort you to EE? If not, what were the crowds like when you reached EE? How long did it take you to walk to EE?

I'd appreciate any input you could share.

Thanks!

We ate there a couple of weeks ago, and no one was escorted. We had an 8 am ADR and most were finished about 8:50. Half of the restaurant went to the rope leading to the safaris, and the other went to the rope that leads to Asia. At 9am they opened the ropes and let us go, but by that time the masses had already been let into the park so there was no advantage.

That's what I was afraid of. When I looked at the map and saw that Tusker House is on the other side of the park, I figured the crowd would be able to get in ahead of us.

I guess I'll cancel our ressie.

Thanks, lemondog!!!
