Question about DL DTD Food Take Out

So i will be arriving late to the DLR on my arrival day. I have kicked around the idea of doing a formal sit down dinner but sense I don't know how tired I will be (working for six hours then catching the flight from the east coast) I decided against that idea.

I know that DTD has express versions of some of their restaurants. I'm really interested in the Jazz Kitchen Express and would love to try it for dinner.

My question is how easy would it be to take the food back to my hotel (DLH)? Does the restaurant provide easy to-go containers?

We've gotten to-go containers from there. The containers were sturdy, if I remember correctly. Another idea for you might be to have your sit down meal in the S55 lounge. It is a bar area right between S55 and Goofy's Kitchen. The lounge has a nice, small menu. You can sit at the bar, at a bar table, or on a sofa.

I haven't actually ordered take-out, but I did ask about it at House of Blues and Jazz Kitchen (the restaurant, not the CS location). Both places said they can do take out, but you have to go there, place an order at the bar, and then wait for the food to be prepared. I forgot to ask if they provided plastic ware or napkins.

We have gotten food to go from Jazz Kitchen and brought it to our room no problem!
