Question about Disneystore, returns and more

I don't see a problem if it is a DVD and I am exchanging it for the same thing.

Is the DVD defective? I know I am sure I will get flack for this but take it back to Walmart. They will exchange it for the exact same title.

It was but thank god - we tore everything apart and found the receipt....exchanged it at the Disneystore - case closed! Again, I wasn't trying to say anything against Disney - I was just really upset! I'm always pretty particular where I buy my things and when it is Disney stuff I go to the Disneystore, so everyone sees me quite frequently! I wasn't trying to upset everyone.

Jodi, I am sorry that you got the brunt of this. I hope that my post didn't offend you, as it wasn't aimed at you at all. The OP it was aimed at deleted his/her post and I didn't quote her. I know it has been difficult for many people guests and Castmembers alike since The Children's Place bought the stores and changed the rules. Now that we know this, it will be easier to deal with.

I also have exchanged DVDs at WalMart without difficulties. Maybe there is a lesson... no matter where you got it from, peel off the stores identifying labels and return it to WalMart.... Just Joking!!!!!

Jodistar - So glad that it was resolved. Lack of receipts can be SO frustrating. My DH's family gets very offended if we return their stuff (even if we already have it), so we do a lot of receiptless returning. In the future, Best Buy was REALLY easy this year for some DVDs. They weren't opened, but they gave us store credits for full value. I've never had a problem with an even exchange anywhere.
