We just purchased a pass at the Disney Store for our 3 year old son. Do you use the card they give you for admission or do you take it to the ticket window and change it for a regular ticket? Thanks!

Was it a park hopper? If so, then it's the actual ticket. If it was an annual pass, then it's a voucher which you will have to exchange.

What does the ticket itself say? If it says "voucher" anywhere on it then you will need to exchange it. Otherwise it is the actually ticket.

WDW park hopper passes (ie, 4-5-6 day, etc.) purchased at TDS are activated at time of purchase (you receive a receipt that actually indicates they are activated).

You can go directly to the turnstiles.

Unless it's a big honkin' hunk of plastic, which is an AP voucher, then it's an actual ticket, the little rectangle of paper in the paper sleeve.

Actually, TDS park passes are now plastic (like a gift card) attached to very long plastic tags that hang on a display.... you bring them to the register and they are activated with the desired number of days. The bottom portion of the plastic tag is the actual ticket that is detached and used at the turnstiles.
