Question About Disney Reward Dollars

I have the Disney Visa and have $130 reward dollars that I want to use while in WDW. Is it true that I can take my Disney Visa to certain cashiers (in Downtown Disney?) and get a Disney Rewards Card?

Yes, and it is so easy, just takes a few minutes once you get to the CM.

This is how it worked for us:
Went to Guest Relations (we happened to do it in Epcot), where we presented our ID and our Disney Rewards Visa and received an envelope with a letter and a magnetic card. On the letter was a phone number to "activate" the card. We used the "mickey phone" right there in Guest Relations to call the number (we didn't have a cell phone). They asked for a "code number" that was on the card and then POOF it was activated! That card then was like a debit card until it was done. HAVE FUN!

You can also get the card before you leave by calling 800-436-7990. They will mail it to you. Also, if you earn more dollars before you go, you can go to the locations people listed here and have them added.

I meant if you earned more dollars between the time you get the card and actually go to WDW you can have them added when you get there!
