Question about Disney Let the Memories Begin

Last Wed. I received an email from Disney (Disney Destinations) about this promotion. It said that the link would expire after the 10th so I uploaded a few pics on the 10th with stories. Today I received a call from someone who claims she is weigh Disney, has obviously read the story I posted.

When I go to the Disney website to look at the promotion, it actually looks different from the site where I input my pics. I'm worried that maybe the email I received was a fake? I have not returned the phone call as I just checked my messages tonight but it was odd.

Has anyone else received an email? Was it legit? I hope I didn't upload pics of my kids to some fake website! I included my phone number. I'm feeling a bit like a moron for doing so.

Anyone can go to the WDW site and upload pictures and videos so I'm not sure about the email you said you received. If I were you I'd look into the name, phone number and web address on your email and see if you can find anything else out. Google the phone number and check out who the web ip is registered to. There are a few people on the DIS that were contacted by WDW and sent release forms for WDW to use their pictures and/or videos in WDW commercials so maybe that was it.
