Question about Disney Designer Dolls

Hey there, I'm new to the forums, so apologies if this doesn't belong here!

I'm planning on getting my sister a gift for her birthday in a few months, specifically the Moana designer doll, that Disney currently has in stock on their site. Since I live in New Zealand, I'm unable to get it from a physical store, and will have to buy it online.
But since I don't have the money for it, nor am I in a rush to get it soon, I worry that by the time I will need to buy it, it'll be out of stock.

So my question is, how quickly do these designer dolls go out of stock, both online and in store?

And I have another question: In the case they do run out of stock, is there any other online store you can recommend that will possibly still sell these dolls for a similar price to the Disney store? I have checked ebay, and most of them were going for 300 or so dollars, with high shipping costs, so haha part of me is hoping there might be another less expensive, trustworthy site?

Right now, Shop Disney is running a promotion that is buy 1 designer doll, get one for 50% off, which is similar to last weeks' 25% off one doll deal. They still haven't sold out. But people are starting to get her because the prices have gone down. The other thing is, shipping costs are high. Is your sister in the US? If so, have it sent directly to her as a gift.

Moana will not go for much. None of these designer dolls sold out until the 25% off deal they had for Black Friday and Cyber Monday...even then, they still had to add the 20% off on top of the entire purchase to get one of the dolls (either Ariel or Rapunzel) to sell out...
