Question about discounts

The discounts and codes seem to be such a last minute thing. I like to book my vacations early for peace of mind. Can you later apply a discount or code and get credit on your bill?

Yes you can as long as they still have rooms open for that discount

We booked our trip in March - and I just paid it off this week.

The codes came out today - and I called and had good luck for once, and they are refunding me the amount of the discount ($322!).
