Question about dining and transportation

Hi All,

I have a question, we are staying at the New Orleans French Quarter and have reservations for Chef Mickeys at the Contemp at 7:40 in the morning. My question is do the buses run early enough to get there or would we need to take a cab? Any help would be appriciated.

Yes, there are buses running that early. Even if MK doesn't open until 9:00, you can still get a bus there. So....you will need to be out at the bus stop by 6:45, at the latest. Since you'll be at POFQ, the bus will make some more stops on the way. And if you just missed the MK bus, you will have to wait about 20 mins for the next one.
Then, sometimes the bus driver will drop you at the Contemporary if you tell him/her you are going to Chef Mickey's. I've never had that happen to me though, so plan on walking from the MK. Get off the bus, head over to the other side of the entrance drive where the buses pull up, so the buses are on your right, the bushes are on the left. Follow the sidewalk to the CR...about 8 min walk and very pleasant. You could take the monorail, but we prefer to walk, especially in the morning. IF you don't want to leave that early, then have a cab called to take you over.
