Question about Developmental Points!

Hey everyone!

We're new AKV DVC owners!

I was just wondering about the developmental points. I know they are good for one year. But does anyone know if the one year starts from when we signed or from when we closed?

I searched around a bit and couldn't find an answer. Thanks for your help!

Developer points (sometimes known as Incentive points) are good 1 year from the date you sign, not closing.

Trip must be completed within 1 yr from date of contract...

The only exception to this is through Interval International, II..
In essence you get an additional yr...As long as a search is initiated through
II within 1 yr from date of contract, you get an additional yr for "match" to come through!

the exact date should be on the sheet in your contract that states that you received developers points.
