I have read in various places about a DDP discount. What is this? My parents are joining us for a few days on our trip. Will I be able to use it for their meals or is it just for oop expenses for my family?

You may be looking at a DDE discount. DDE (Disney Dining Experience) is a discount program for annual passholders and Florida residents, who pay a fee and receive a card to present for the discount. It is not the same thing as the Disney Dining Plan (DDP).

You can't get the DDP for your parents unless they 1) are staying in your room, on your reservation, for your entire stay or 2) have their own package or DVC reservation.
