Question about DDP and AP

Ok, if I am booking my vacation using an AP can I get DDP? If I only have 1 annual pass and the rest are regular MYW park hoppers for 4 days can I add the DDP to these? What about the person who has the AP can they get the DDP?

As long as you book an AP ticketless package then yes you can pay to add any dining plan. An AP package requires that you book either at an AP rate or full price; you can't use any of the general public offers and book an AP package. Nobody else in the room has to have an AP in order to book the AP package; it's doable with only 1 AP holder in the room though the AP holder does have to be the lead on the reservation.

That being said, you might want to consider the TiW card instead of the dining plan. As an AP holder you can purchase TiW. After you've spent $350 in food at TS locations and CS at AK or value or POFQ resorts then you are guaranteed 20% savings. With DDP, you really need to work the plan and eat exactly as they disctate and use every single allotment in order to come out ahead. Just something to think about.
