We are considering purchasing an add-on and I have several questions and my guide isn't calling me back :sad1: If we choose the cruise option for our incentive, what happens for a family of 5? Can we pay to upgrade? Do we need to book an additional room? I can't believe we'd be the only family needing to do this. Anyone know?

Add-on minimum for cruise incentive is 100 points at select DVC resort ( BLT, AKV, SSR & VGC ) On minimum purchase of 100 point add-on the Offer includes one deluxe oceanview stateroom for 4 people on 3 night DCL cruise on select dates beginning August 27 2009 through dates in 2010 (blockout dates apply). Take alook at this link to dvcnews.com for all the current incentives offered for add-ons and what minimum add-on requirements are for cruise incentive of more than 3 nights.

For larger parties this info was noted in terms and conditions on mailer I received from DVC on this promo :
" members choosing to upgrade party size or stateroom accommodations at the time of reservation will be responsible for any additional payment by cash, check or credit card. Cruise length cannot be increased."

Also fyi, cruises cancelled by member cannot be rescheduled and any modifications to cruise 74 days or less before sailing will result in the cancellation of the cruise and forfeiture of this offer ).

We upgraded our cabin/added a passenger and it was $1450 for the 7 night cruise. We already had 2 cabins booked prior to adding on so the promotion saved us around $3000. I thought it was a pretty good deal since the category 4 cabin is so expensive as it is.
