Question about CRT & Dining Plan

I've seen the info regarding the new policy regarding CRT reservations beginning Feb. 1st & I have a question maybe someone can answer. The policy states that when you book the reservation, you either have to pay in full or, if you are on the Dining Plan, have a credit card guarantee. For our Oct. 2006 trip, we are using the Dining Plan-could you book this using the CC Dining Plan guarantee & then pay for it oop at the restaurant instead of using your TS credits? I really hate the idea of paying in full for a meal 6 months before we even eat it , and I hate even more the idea of using 2 TS credits for one breakfast(even if it is Cindy's!) Does anyone know if this could be done or would you be forced to use the TS credits for this since it was booked with the Dining Plan CC guarantee. I would just go elsewhere, but this is the only meal my niece has specifically asked me to get ressies for, so I really hate to disappoint her. If anyone out there knows if I could do this, please let me know. Thanks so much!

I don't think anyone knows the answer to that yet because it's changed so recently. I can't imagine that if you just said you were on the dining plan and used the CC as a guarantee that they wouldn't let you pay out of pocket when you got there.

I spoke with a CM yesterday and she "thought" I would be able to pay oop for any of my ressies reserved thru the dining plan.
