Question about crowds in October.......

My family and I are thinking about going to Disney World the 2nd or 3rd week of October. I have been to Disney many times but never this time of year. I'm curious to know what the crowds are like then. We really want to go when it's less crowded so would this be a good time for lower crowds?

We have gone the week of Columbus Day. A lot of schools are on fall break at that time (as are we) and it is pretty crowded then. Not crowded like at Easter, but I think more than the other October weeks.

I have a week off from school around that time, and my ds 12 (in a neighboring system) has two weeks off! We've planned another trip to WDW for that time frame.
