Hi Everyone, We will be headed down September 1-6. Planning on 3-4 days at Disney and 2-3 at Universal. What are the crowds like at Universal that time of year. Would I still need to buy express passes or are the crowds light enough that I can save money and not get them? Any help is much appreciated! We have never been this time of year before.

Crowds are pretty good in September. I wouldn't purchase EP in advance.

Your dates include Labor Day weekend. I would think that will drive up crowd levels at least a little.

Sounds like Labor Day weekend...Any holiday when school is out is crowded, IMO. There are several sites that offer free crowd calendars, so you could check how much impact that will have at both WDW and UO.

If your Universal days are the Monday of the 4th, Tuesday the 5th and Wednesday the 6th, you should not need Express. For the Friday, Saturday and Sunday before Labor Day, crowd calendars list those days as busier than average.
