Question about credit card charge

When I made ADRs many months ago, our credit card was charged. (I think it was a holding fee for CRT.) Anyhow, we just got back from our trip & we were on the DDP. Shouldn't that money have been credited back to us or something? I'm not certain if I need to call Disney Dining about this or if there's something else I should do. Thanks!

Your credit card is normally charged the full price of the CRT meal unless you tell the person on the phone that you're using DDP credits to pay for it. In that case, nothing will be charged to your card unless you're a no-show. If you had already paid the fee via credit card, then you shouldn't have also been charged DDP credits. I've done it twice now, and I choose to pay OOP because it's not a good use of DDP credits, so my card is always charged in full when I make the reservations.

It was a charge of $68.85, so it wasn't the entire CRT bill. (There were 4 of us.) Could it possibly be from another restaurant? Who do I contact to figure this out?

i would call Disney Dining, they are the ones that took the initial payment, they should be able to help you resolve this issue.
