So i have been debating about this and i figured someone here would know the correct answer. During the cp you get 6 passes for 3 ppl while your in the cp, is that 6 times a person or 2 times a person? Is it possible to get 4 ppl in free using less times a person? idk if that makes sense haha but can someone give me full detail about this subject?

Thanks!

you can bring in up to 3 people in, 6 times during your CP
meaning that if you bring in 2 people one day, that last 1 doesnt carry over to another day, its lost. it's not like you have 18 tickets to pass out
so to answer your question, no you cant bring in 4 people for free at a time
hope that answers you question!

Haha kinda, what if 3 ppl come..how many times does each person get in and how many consecutive days

if you bring 3 people in, thats fine. basically its saying you only get to use the passes six times a term and its only good for 3 people a day.
and i dont think it matters if the days are consecutive or not but there are block-out dates for each park in which you cant use the passes
mostly just during the holidays and most of april for spring break season

You can get them in six times. It doesn't have to be the same three people each time, but you only have six times to bring people in, whether it's one person or two, or three...

Edit: Looks like Nicole got there first, so nevermind! :)

I have a question. Do the passes work like a single park ticket or like a hopper pass? Like if I take my sister to the MK for the day and we decide to see Fantasmic (our favorite show) that night, will she be allowed to hop over to HS without using another pass?

How it Works...

You're issued a blue 'main gate' pass. You will take this pass to the employee entrance of any park with your party of 1 to 3 people. There you will be directed by the ticketing cast member who will probably scan your card themselves for each person you're bringing in. This will generate a *1 day park hopper ticket* from the system. (You ofcourse will just use your employee id to get in for free, so you don't count as one of the '3 people a day'.)

This ticket can be used hop from MK to HS, but if you, say, get it drenched on Splash Mountain, you might have problems as it won't scan through the system at HS. Now, it's always possible that they may issue you a new one as it happens to guests all the time, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Thank you very much, that helps a lot.:thumbsup2

If you go seasonal in either June or November (depending when you are put through the system as seasonal) you will receive 2 complimentary tickets each year. :)

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the CP, but a lot of CPs go seasonal, so I figured I would mention it.

What happens with extending? Let's say I'm doing the Spring session but want to extend to Spring Advantage...would I get more passes for that extra time?

It's a little bit more complicated than that.

Cast Members and Employees of The Walt Disney Company and Affiliated Companies receive the number of Complimentary Tickets per distribution equal to the number of dependents they have and claim in SAP.

For example, a Casual Temporary Cast Member with a Spouse/Same-Sex Domestic Partner and 3 children would receive 5 tickets per year. A Casual Regular or Full Time Cast Member in the same position will receive 5 tickets per distribution, for a total of 10 per year.

Cast Members without any dependents will receive 2 tickets per distribution, for a total of 4 per year. Casual Temporary Cast Members in this position would receive 2 per year.

Per the present policy of The Walt Disney Company and Affiliated Companies, Casual Temporary Cast Members and Employees may not receive Complimentary Tickets unless they work a paid shift during the year. For the Walt Disney World Resort, this means that Casual Temporary Cast Members must work at least one paid shifts at the Walt Disney Wolrd Resort in Florida in order to receive their Complimentary Tickets.

What happens with extending? Let's say I'm doing the Spring session but want to extend to Spring Advantage...would I get more passes for that extra time?

Main Entrance Passes, including those issued to College & International Program Participants, are issued on a calendar year basis

College & International Program Participants extending from a Spring Program would not receive a new Main Entrance Pass, as they are still working for the company within the same calendar year.

However, College & International Program Participants extending from a Fall Program into another Program which ends after 31 December would receive a new Main Entrance Pass, as they would be working for the company within two different calendar years.

Actually you do use youre maingate to get yourself AND the 1-3 people in. so, whats a nice little trick, if you have a friend meeting up with you later, or just want one just incase, you can get two fastpasses when you used your maingate that day, one with the maingate and one with your id :D

It's good if you only have less than 3 people coming with you. I'm part of a family of 5, so that wouldn't work for me.

Americangeiko, so you're saying that if my family is planning to stay for four or five days and go to all 4 Disney parks, I will used up 4/6 of my park passes?

How soon after checking in will the CP be able to get their friends/family in? Do they have to have been working for a specified amount of time?

The used to give the maingates out during check-in, but they are now mailing them about 2-3 weeks after you check-in. This is according to people who are on the program now.

You can get in yourself as soon as you have a WDW Cast ID, but you won't have your maingate until a bit after you start.

Thank you, khancock, for your quick reply. :) We've been wondering this, since we'll be going down with DD in January and want to go to the parks maybe a couple of days while we're there.

Of course, we also want to visit as much as possible while she's doing the CP :goodvibes - so I'm sure we'll get an opportunity to use the maingate later!

We're also trying to decide where to stay the night before check-in and the next couple of nights! I have gotten a PIN for 30-40% off the room only. Not sure exactly how to make reservations, since we'll have one less person after the first night. (I guess I need to call reservations instead of trying to handle it online.)

If you guys wait a couple weeks after your DD check's into the program you can start getting her discount on the Room and use her Maingate with the tickets on it. Just something to help ya out!
