When we filled out our registration, we were planning to have APs so we answered "no" to the passes. Now we're rethinking that and may want to buy convention passes later. Is this an option we can add later (closer to the convention date)?

Tina, I think that you should email your question to Linda@Dreamsunlimitedtravel.com concerning the convention passes.

Yet another good question. :)

I'm thinking that we should be able to purchase them later on, since they are seperate from the pkg., but maybe we can only get that 'deal' now (rather than later ???).

Anyhoo...I just wanted to add that we had planned on purchasing our park passes from TDS--so we can get out Disney Club discount. :)

Were the tix offered by Pete le$$ ???

For those of you interested in the answer to this question, here is the email I received from Linda:

Hi!

You have plenty of time to think about the passes. We have not even decided
yet if we will buy them before arrival or have them available upon arrival
or both. You see if we by them ahead of time there are at a slightly lower
price (very slightly -you know WDW). At any rate we will release
information to everyone attending as soon as we decide and even if we take
orders ahead the payment would not be due until October when the final
package payment is due.

Have a great day :)

Luvdsny,
Yes they were offered by Pete. They are offering 4 and 5 day convention passes. The following was posted on Pete's Q&A post announcing the prices:
=============================
- Is theme park admission included in the above prices?
No. The prices above are only for hotel/event. There will be special 4 day convention tickets available for $202 (incl tax) for adults 10 and over and $161 (incl tax) for children under 10. 5 day passes are also available for $230 for adults and $182 for children. These passes include admission to both Disney Quest and Pleasure Island.
===============================
Decide what type of pass is best for you.

Bumping this up wondering if we have any official word yet. I have only 68 more days till I arrive in WDW.

So wondering if we know about these yet since we only have till 9-30 (I believe) till the tickets at another site that offers 4 plus features expire.

Hi!

You can buy the convention passes directly from the Yacht and Beach Resort. I will post a thread tomorrow with all the details.
