Question about confirming reservations...

Has anyone ever called the resort to confirm a room reservation?

It is my understanding that the resort does not know of your ressie until 4 days prior to your arrival. You could fax or call at that time and talk to the room assigner.

I always rely on the paper confirmation disney sends. if all the info there is correct, I feel comfortable with that.

10-4, and at check in, if I don't like what I am assigned, I work it out right there. I found they will do whatever can be done.

I called to confirm this trip two days prior. They were gracious about my confirm, but I got the feeling they didn't understand why I was calling. It sounded as if people don't make it general practice to call there and confirm.

In all of my trips, this is the first time I confirmed. I used a different travel agent and I just wanted to be sure.
