I have read that there are famous bands playing in Epcot during the Food and Wine Festival at times, but I was unable to find out much information about this. I did find out that Three Dog Night will be there when we are there on Nov. 12th. My DH would be thrilled to be able to see them, if possible. Do you have to buy tickets to see the bands?

Any info. would be very much appreciated, thanks!

(Only three more weeks til our much-anticipated trip to FL!)

no extra tickets required just the ticket for entrance to EPCOT.
They play in World Showcase at the American Pavilion.
Have fun

they have three shows a night. when we were there another year, the line was rather short and we had excellent seats for one of the supremes! Can you imagine? It was wonderful. I don't know about lines this time - when you approach the open air theater (across from the American Pavillion) , ask a CM where the line is for the next show. There isn't any advanced reserved seating.

Just a friendly word of advice: There is absolutely no reason to queue up for these concerts - The theater simply doesn't fill to capacity.

So unless you're simply a glutton for getting in line - don't.

That said, there are three possible exceptions to this:

1. The first concert each night next week for the Beach Boys.
2. It's raining and you want covered seating in the first 5 or six rows.
3. You're a band groupie and have to be close enough to throw your underwear onstage.

Even if you should see a really long queue, even one that stretches all the way to Germany, this many people won't fill more than a third to half of the theater, the capacity is that great.

Eat to the Beat & Flower Power simply don't totally fill up all the seating.

This past Saturday night when Epcot was shoulder to shoulder throughout the park (I mean unbelievably crowded) - the Gap Band (absolutely terrific BTW) didn't fill the place - though they came close for the first show only.

DON'T expect this the nights the Beach Boys are playing. Last year I got no closer than the Italian Pavilion!

Certain groups will draw more heavy especially from the local residence.
