Are the food offerings different at the hotels with Club Level? If so, what are your favorite Club Levels for food?

I've only stayed at YC CL and Poly CL....Poly offerings were a bit more south seas influenced, while YC was not. Food was good in both, and my family loves eating in the lounge, so either one would work for us.

Yes, they're different (at least for us Akl, CR, Poly) and the lounge offerings are influenced by the resort theme. The only CL we've booked into twice is AKL since we love everything about the resort.

Some of the lounges might offer the same items between 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM because I have seen that, however during that time they will also offer items specifc to their resort. For example at the Boardwalk Inn they offer two specifc Salads that the other Club Level lounges don't have available.

I have stayed Club Level at the Contemporary, Boardwalk Inn, Polynesian and Beach Club, so I would say my favorite foods are tied with the Contemporary and Boardwalk Inn. The reason is both lounges offer several items I enjoyed having.

Right now I think we are leaning towards the Poly or Boardwalk. Any opinons on which is better?

Personally I would say it's the Boardwalk Inn and the main reason is their Club Level Cast Members. They are the most friendly people you will ever meet and they are one major reason why the Boardwalk Inn became my new favorite WDW Resort. Plus I am not the only one who thinks that because I have always seen a lot of guests returning to stay Club Level over there because of their Cast Members. They also have a nice lounge, great food offerings and the theme/atmosphere of the Boardwalk is amazing, plus you have walkways to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

I have to agree with CR about the BWI. The staff are the greatest of all the club levels I have stayed at other than maybe the WL & that was back in 2008. I found the staff at the BWI to go out of their way to make you happy & feel at home. That why I stay there if I couldn't get in I would go to the WL or maybe the Yacht Club. :goodvibes

I've stayed at WL CL, GF SL, and GF RPC. The food offerings between the 2 resorts were different, with all of them being good :). I enjoyed all 3 club levels, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be GF RPC for the spacious lounge and great atmosphere, not to mention the CMs in RPC are fabulous :wizard:. I would stay WL CL again in a heartbeat, but if RPC wasn't doable and I wanted to stay at the GF, I would save the money and just book a GV room. I had a nice stay and thought the offerings were plentiful, but I thought the lounge was very crowded and chaotic and I just didn't feel it was worth the extra money.

I've stayed CL at the GF once, and many times at the Poly CL. While they were bot awesome, the offerings at the Poly were better. We prefer the Magic Kingdom area, even though our kids are older now. I would make my choice based on location.

Over the last decade the club level offerings have become mainstreamed, but would note they all still have some level of distinction. The distinction derives from the fact they get some of their food offerings from the resorts TS restaurants.

i agree with this. The cast members there are like old friends. You are made to feel welcome immediately, and the location can't be beat!

We stayed Poly Club level this past August, and the evening food offerings were nothing to write home about. Honestly, during our 4 nights there I didn't see anything from the resort TS restaurants, it was veggies, dip and those frozen "hors d'oeuvres" from any grocery store. I wouldn't base a stay on the food.

What is the club level at the Contemporary like? Is there a fireworks viewing area? How late, early is it open?

Since we'll be staying in October, during the Mickey's Halloween party, we might want to watch the HalloWishes from the Contemporary, if that's possible.

There is a balcony in the lounge that over looks the Magic Kingdom, so you can watch Hallowishes from there.

Now the lounge itself is open 24 hours since there is no door to enter it, however at 10:00 PM all the foods and drinks are taken away.

We loved staying on CL at CR. The CMs were really incredible and we really enjoyed the snacks and drinks. We were on the 14th floor (supposed to be on 12 but got bumped up at check-in) and while the food was taken away at 10 (save for the fruit baskets) the cooler of drinks remained open and available. Hallowishes was fun from the CL balcony, you really got to see how much bigger the show is than regular Wishes.
