Do they have beer in cans or aluminum bottles that you can take to the pool? We stayed club level at the Hrh and we were able to take are beer, wine and snacks to the pool. We loved club level, but I don't want to pay for it if this is not an option at WDW. My boys are too active to sit in the lounge. We need to be at the pool. Thanks

My DH asked for one last yr and got one, they dont keep alot on hand tho.. Just ask.. Or bring a big plastic cup from home that you can pour it in to take to the pool..

We brought plastic tiki cups from home last yr kept a bottle of rum in the fridge and poured a little rum in them and then juice from the CL and went out to the pool, we got alot of compliments on our cups..

Final thought you can always email the IPO about two weeks before the trip and make a request for them..

I never saw the beer in cans or aluminum bottles. You need to take the beer in a plastic cup to the pool area so plan accordingly.

I never saw it either. By default all bottles in CL are glass.

Thanks. I don't think Cl at wdw is for us. The hardrock had aluminum bottles and the wait staff provided an ice bucket to keep them cold. A big part of our vacation is hanging out at the pool sipping on adult beverages. Warm beer in a cup is not good. Probably cheaper to buy or own beer, wine and snacks then pay the 100+ a night extra for club level.

I agree with the others who said the best thing is to get some paper cups from the lounge so you can poor the Beer into them when you are at the pool.

They did have some of the blue alunimum bottle of budlight.. My DH asked and got one..Like I said you can request it..

That's interesting. We've also stayed at HRH twice since last August. Each time when my adult son would take a beer from the club lounge and walk out to the pool, he was stopped and told he was not allowed to bring that into the pool area. He was told he would have to purchase beverages from the Beach Club bar. We had a cabana and had been purchasing from there but it's interesting to hear that different people are told different things.

We carried beers and wine out to the pool everyday. All the cl people were doing it. They had to be in plastic cup or aluminum bottle. Never once did anyone bat an eye at it. The security guard told my dh "I like the way you roll" when he saw him carrying 4 beers. I think I would have taken issue with the management and asked to have my club level money refunded if I was told I couldn't drink the beer I had paid for. I have never had an issue at any hotel bringing my own alcohol. That sounds really strange.

Yeh and you should have seen our bar bill at the pool!!!

They DO have aluminum cans... just tell them you would like some to take to the pool. It isn't a problem. We've done it many times.

They have cans? I wish someone had told me about this before, I usually had half the beer drank before I made it out to the pool.:rolleyes1

So, can you take the CL food and drinks with you? We're staying CL at BCR in a few months. Can we take bottles of water with us for the parks and things like that? Do they limit how much you can take at one time?

Yes you can take food and drinks out of the Club Level lounge and there is no limits, because everything always gets replaced when it's almost empty or not available.

However when it comes to bottled of water most of the Club Level lounges don't offer them anymore. Today the lounges have a huge glass bottle of Evian, although I have seen guests asks for their own bottles and it's something I have also asked for. Well each time the Cast Members had no problems giving us one.
The only expection when it comes to bottled water I know of is at the Contemporary which has mini bottles of Dasani in the fridge on the Atrium Club Level floor or it's kept in their storage area and you will need to ask for it.

I don't understand the glass bottles of water? The Universal resorts will give you as many bottles of water as you wan't to take to the parks. I don't get how disney can charge what they do, and not provide their guests with bottled water and packaged snacks. If Universal can do it and charge 1/2 the price for a club room why can't disney. I am going to have to rethink spending the extra money on club level in Oct.

We've stayed CL at BC, YC and HRH.
HRH might give you bottled water but we thought the breakfast and evening appetizers at Disney were a world above the HRH offerings.

Thats good to know. I was happy with hrh breakfast and appetizers. The had hard boiled eggs which was a big plus for us. I only paid $60 more per night for cl at hrh. At disney its at least $120+ more a night. I want to make sure its what I want. I ask a lot of questions and I am an obsessive researcher. A disney vacation is such a big investment I don't want to come home disappointed. Thanks
