I have a res for Chef Mickey's on the last day of the trip and it is for 1050am I was wondering if they are still going to be serving breakfast during this time or will we be getting there while they are swapping breakfast to lunch. Thanks is advance.

You don't say when your trip is, but ours is for August 17 at 11:20 and it is still breakfast then

Depending on when your trip is, normally Chef Mickey's does not offer lunch, its only breakfast and dinner. Now, I've heard from other people that during free dining they do open it up for lunch, but i'm not sure if their doing that this year, but either ways your ressies time is for breakfast, so there's no need to worry about them swapping over for lunch.:goodvibes

Breakfast ends at 11:30am. When lunch is offered this year lunch will start at 12:30. I would not expect lunch while you are there. We have an 11am ADR and have read lots of reviews indicating that hot breakfast food and lively characters continue for those with even later ADRs.

Thanks for the replies, after some thought I am actually thinking that I will change my reservation and make one for lunch some where else instead. This is going to be the last day of our trip and we will have one table service meal left, and after talking it over with my sil we decided that we would probably get more out of using it to pay for a nice lunch than a buffet breakfast. This is ok with me because I am not really a big fan of breakfast, I just thought it would be nice to end with a character meal because my nephews are all under 7 but I guess I will try and find something else for lunch. I would love to swing into Epcot and do LeCellier but the mushroom filet is not on their lunch menu. :guilty: again, thanks so much.....any suggestions for a nice filling lunch??

Chef Mickey's is serving lunch. I wouldn't give up on the CM experience. Its a rowdie, kid friendly character buffet experience. Because of the littany of Disney Princesses there are a lot of Princess character meals, but I think the characters and rowdiness of CM's is one that boys (your nephews and mine) will enjoy. I've told my nephew that Mickey has invited us to his restaurant while we're at Disney. ;) :thumbsup2

This review has some great comments and photos on a family's visit to CM:

Your idea of an ending character meal for the boys is a good one. I wouldn't give that up so I could get more "value" than a buffet. Honestly, would the boys be happier at Chef Mickey's or LeCellier? :rolleyes1

Good luck with your ADR.

Hi Mini,

Depending on when your trip is, normally Chef Mickey's does not offer lunch, its only breakfast and dinner. Breakfast ends at 11:30am. I would not expect lunch while you are there. Have a wonderful trip.:woohoo:

Chef Mickey's has added lunch during the Free DDP period(check DINE line for dates). OP did not mention trip dates, but did allude to CM's lunch so I assumed they new CM was serving lunch during their visit.

I think I read lunch doesn't start until some time in Sept. Before that you will get breakfast. We also have 10:50 for breakfast. I love the late time because you usually get better character interaction and the food is still fresh and plentiful and being put out.
