Question about Chef Mickey

I am doing the dining plan for the first time this year since I received a PIN code for free dining in December. I had read on here before that during the regular free dining in September that Chef Mickey's opened up for lunch. Does anyone know if they are doing that during December as well?

I scheduled an ADR for 5:10pm on my 90 day mark. Since then our scheduled has changed because of deciding to fly in rather than drive. I have been checking for cancellations for a better time or day for us and wondered if I needed to be checking through the lunch hours as well. Also, is it 5:00pm when they begin serving dinner?

I *just* got an ADR for 4:30 at Chef Mickey's on Sat, 11/21. I don't know if it's lunch or dinner, but as long as Mickey shows up, I don't care!

I do remember that for our trip last year, I wanted the first available CM ADR before MNSSHP and the CM told me it was 5:00. So, I'm not sure if they've added some lunches for the busier season or if it's just been changed to add extra time at the dinner hour. But try for 4:30 and see what you get!

I saw your post after I had posted mine and I went to try but no luck! I will keep checking. Congrats on your score!! That gives me some encouragement and hope. Chef Mickey's was the one place my husband requested that we go. My DS is also a big Mickey fan and loves all the Fab 5!!
