Since we ordered our park hoppers prior to the new ticket system....I do have one question.

I remember back in 2001 when we did check in, that counted as a day against our ticket. So my question when I do a check in again on say Tuesday, will that start the 5 day park hopper plus? And if so I guess we will be visiting PI that night to get our plus out of it.

It just stinks that they charged us a day when we do a later check in day.

If you ordered a "5-day Park Hopper Plus" it is good indefinately, and you can use unused park days and plusses on future visits. If you've paid for an Ultimate Park Hopper, or Ultimate Magic Pass, or whatever they are calling the "Length of Stay" type pass this year, it will be good on your check-in day throguh your check-out day.

Chuck thanks for the fast reply. Maybe I confused your or myself, no matter.

So we have the 5day park hopper plus, checking into All-Star-Sports on Tuesday late evening. Once check in is done , will that Tuesday be counted towards my 5 day ticket. For Example, Tuesday checking, counts as one day total, which will leave 4 days left on the ticket? I'm only asking because the new tickets don't require you to have tickets to stay on the resort and I'm feeling like I got screwed by ordering the older tickets a couple months ago. Thanks

A 5-Day Park Hopper Plus will not expire, it will not have a start or end date.

It is good for 5 park admissions and whatever the set number of plus options are...period.

Hotel check-in or length of your hotel stay have nothing to do with "5-Day Park Hoppers".

You can use 3 park admission days during your upcomming visit, and the other 2 days 5 years from now if you wish...just be sure to hold onto your ticket and make a copy of the back (for the code numbers) for safe keeping in case the ticket is lost. Remaining days can be replaced with the ticket number information.

The "five day park hopper plus" ticket has nothing to do with your resort stay. You could be staying off site or just driving in for the day and use that type of ticket. The "ultimate park hopper" was attached to disney resort stays, this is the ticket that you burned the day checking in and checking out on since it was active from check in to check out and most people don't go to the park on those days. That is the ticket you probably had your last visit. You won't use a day on your current ticket until you actually go through a parks turnstiles, and if you don't use all of your days or plus options you can hang on to the ticket and use it on a later trip.

Did that help? It can get so confusing can't it? :D

OK now that you cleared that up (I'm not being stubborn, just looking for a little advice). Would this have or had changed since 2001? I could swear when we booked our vacation package for our honeymoon that we had to have a ticket for our entire length of stay at POR.
Its possible I have a day or two left on my tickets from then?!? Do I just call Disney and give them the information and they can tell me if there are any days or not?

If you booked your honeymoon as part of a "package" that included tickets, you probably had a "Length of Stay" type pass, that is why it started on your check-in day, and all use would have expired on your check-out day. Length of Stay passes are tied into your hotel reservations, so no days would be remaining.

Park Hopper tickets are not tied to hotel stays. Guessing by your posts, I'd guess your upcomming trip is a "room only" reservation, and you've basically purchased your own park hopper tickets seperately. It would be a good idea for your peace of mind to verify that with Disney Reservations.

Your are very correct. We originally hadn't planned on staying on sight, I had purchased the the pluses, then the good deal on the rooms came in and I reserverd for on sight. Thanks alot for your help!
