Question about check-in

I am the primary person on our 2 bedroom villa reservation. My parents however are flying in and arriving about 5 hours before the rest of us. They are listed on the reservation. Will they have any problems entering the room if it is ready before I get there assuming I do online check-in (I’m the one using DVC points)?

As long as they are listed on the reservation there should be no issue.

FYI If they’re entering the resort in a private car (rental or rideshare), they just need to tell the gate guard that they’re checking in. It’s also not unusual for the guard to want to see a photo ID and/or ask for the name of the lead guest on the reservation (you).

Just the guest's name (and ID) should be fine. I've had more than one time when the guard had a hard time finding me on the reservation (and I'm the owner) but found my cousin's name and her husband's name just fine!
