I have a couple of solo trips planned and with the new 60 day window on Best Rate Program, I did find some rates better than what I have. The thing is, this is on my hubby's AP. I don't have one at the moment, but will have one by the time these trips come up.

If I book in his name, (with me as the 2nd guest in the room) and show up by myself, will I have a problem at check-in?

Thanks,

Carol

After I got the rate under hubbys AP#, I logged in under hubbys email account and got a message that for "security purposes", the credit card holder must be the same as login guest, and gave me an option to log in as a different guest, so I logged in as myself, then I became the primary guest, with his AP # still listed. I then made him the 2nd guest and used my CC to pay the deposit.

Now if he doesn't show up, it won't matter.

I had a similar problem but opposite. We booked the room under my DH AP but I used my login so it required me to use a credit card under my name and has me as the primary guest but the AP is my husbands. We were worried they would make me show an AP since all the best guest rules say must be booked with AP holders credit card and all that. We called CRO and they said it didn't matter as long as someone in the party had an AP. I'm still a little worried though because we all know how much you can trust what CRO says.
