My DH and I are going to be doing our first character meal this October, which would you all suggest? We really want to see the more "classic" characters, especially Donald. We only saw him in the parade last time and he's DH's favorite. Money isn't an issue, though at all of these places will the PAP give us the 15% off? Thanks!:)

idk if you will see him but goofys or minnies sounds like your two best shots.

The problem with character meals is that alot of the same characters there. Chip, Dale Minnie, Goofy, Pluto (and a variety of others which is dependant on who knows what) can be seen at Goofy's and Minnie's. Chip and Dale are also at Storytellers with Brother Bear and Tarzan characters. You'll see 5 princesses at Ariels. Lilo and Stitch, Daisy and Minnie plus Goofy can be seen at Lilo and Stitch. And Toy Story characters at the Round up celebration.
Some will say breakfast at Storytellers or Goofy's is the best food. I liked the different offerings at Lilo's for breakfast. We have always thought that Goofy's for dinner is much better than breakfast. They have awesome prime rib and cocktails!
But recently Ariel's changed their menu and their lunch and dinner are out of this world. But you are limited to princesses.

Don't know if this helps but it is an overall opinion from someone who did them all in November/December

Good Luck!

Okay well Ariel's is out haha. Don't see DH having fun watching all the princesses. I'm leaning towards Goofy's for dinner, but also wondering about Minnie. Where is the Minnie one located? I am set on doing dinner. Also do all these include the 15% percent off with the PAP? Thanks!

We really enjoyed the characters and food at Goofy's Kitchen for dinner time... It was alot of fun not just for our daughter but for us too.

The Minnie & Friends is held at the Plaza Inn on Main Street. It is a breakfast buffet. You will find more of the classic characters here. I've never seen Donald....but that doesn't mean someone else hasn't.

Goofy's Kitchen is at the DL Hotel. We love this buffet & enjoy all the activity they involve the kids in. Huge buffet with tons & tons & tons of choices. We do this for breakfast & again for dinner on our trips!!!!

Yes, all the character meals will accept the PAP for a 15% discount. If you want a dinner character meal, your only choices would be Ariel's or Goofy's and since Ariel's is out, then Goofy's it is - unless you decide to do a character breakfast, in which case your options open back up!!

I ditto everything DizNee Luver and RuthieT said ^^ about Goofy's except I prefer the breakfast. But there are tons of food choices there no matter which meal you attend!:thumbsup2

Dinner at Goofy's it is! Sweet! Thanks all for the advice. Can't wait to get our first ever PAPs! Wohoo! Is there a list somewhere that tells you where you can get discounts, like do you at any of the DTD stores besides World of Disney? I'm thinking not since they aren't affiliated with Disney, but just thought I would ask anyway! I can't wait for our trip! :rotfl:

Can you use the DVRC (disney visa rewards card) or disney visa to get a discount on GK?
