Question about changing lead name on DVC booking

I booked a villa with my name as the lead guest. When I went into the reservation to change the lead guest to my husband's name, it will not let me change my name. What am I not understanding?
We have one villa reserved through DVC and another villa reserved through an exchange through Interval (it has my name as lead guest and it cannot be changed) and I assume I cannot have both reservations (DVC and Interval) with my name as the lead guest. I don't want to have either villa cancelled on me. Thanks for your help.

As far as I am aware, DVC has never provided a reason. Possibly it is just to assure all necessary changes for the lead guest are done including change in phone number and email for the person who is to receive communications concerning the reservation, and change in credit card for charges to room.
