Question about cancelling reservation

My DH and I rented our points our for the first two years and now we use them all for ourselves. Anyway, I was just checking to see how many points we have left in our 07 use year (we were borrowing a few) and it turns out that now we have 11 more than before in our 06 use year. I looked at the "recent activity" category in the member's website and it shows that part of the reservation from the 11-16 was modified and the night of the 15th was cancelled on the 15th. I didn't cancell that night and I was wondering if the renter had a right to cancel or modify his or her own reservation?

I didn't think non-members had the right to change ressies, but it appears that was done last minute, so was probably canceled at the resort itself.

But wouldn't those be in holding status?

Holding account points - yes- but that's okay because my DH and I just rescheduled our airline tickets and added three extra days at Disney, so now I will use 11 points from 06 and the other points from 07 if there is availability at OKW when I call MS tomorrow!
