I made a ressie for 4:00 so i could be admitted early to the mk on my p and p ticket. my understanding is that you can only gain early admittance if u have a ressie. Well anyway my question is what happens if i don't show for that ressie and just used it to get in early do they charge your resort or anything for the no show? Please don't flame me i might go but then again we might not depending on how the earlier part of the day goes at ak.

Some TS restaurants, like CRT, take credit card information up front and tell you that if you need to cancel and do not do so within a certain period of time your card will be charged. Its been my experience that CP is not like this at all. If you do not show up and do not call to cancel you will not be charged for it. BUT, if you know you will not be going there for your 4PM ADR, please call Disney Dining and cancel. I tried to get in to CP early once and was completly shut out all day (learned my lesson). By calling Disney Dining and canceling you will be freeing up that time for someone else who might want it and didn't plan ahead.

If I understood correctly, you booked this ADR so that you could enter the park at 4 with only your Party ticket correct? There is no need for you to have a reservation in order to do this. Unless of course the rules have changed. We were there in December for MVMCP and entered the MK at 4PM using only our party tickets, this seems to be the way that they are doing things right now. I say right now, because as always, everything is sublect to change. But, if they did change and not allow you in using your party ticket at 4, I am sure you would not be able to only use your party ticket even if you had a reservation. SO, if you don't want to eat there, just cancel the reservation and enter the park at 4pm anyway. Good luck, have a good trip!

I think you can get into the park at 4 pm with just your P and P tickets. That is how it has always been with MNSSHP but I am not sure that is "official."

Anyway, they always tell you to arrive for ADRs 15 minutes early, so you could keep your ADR and probably get in to the park at 3:30. If I were you, I would call WDW and ask.

Have fun!

Please cancel the ressie so that somebody who wants it can use it. You do not need a ressie to get in at 4. You just need your ticket. Everyone with a ticket gets in at 4.

But please realize this has been the unofficial policy for most hard ticket events like NOJ, MVMCP, MNSSHP, and P&P. As an unofficial policy, if you call Disney they will tell you the Party starts at 7 and you can get in at 7. Also as an unofficial policy it's subject to change.
If they were to change it, I don't see what difference having a ressie would make, because people would start doing what you suggest above, wasting hard to get adr's.
