Question about Cakes you can make from the box

You know the cakes...like Betty Crocker ones...that you just add milk and eggs to the cake powder and the blend it all together?

Well my electric blender has died. Can I just use a spoon or a whisk to blend all the ingredients together until it's all mixed together with no lumps? Or will that do something different to batter and the cake won't come out? Help! and Thank you!

Yes, I've NEVER had an electric blender. My cakes turn out fine. Do stir fast though.

Yes, mix by hand. However do not use a whisk, it will put too much air into the batter.

I'd say go to the supermarket or bakery and buy a cake.

I just got done baking on and always us a spoon to mix. It always turns out light and tasty.
