I have a question to ask on behalf of my dad, who is going to WDW without me for the first time next month! :guilty:

He is staying at All Star Music, and is interested in taking a side trip to Sea World. Can a shuttle be arranged through All Star Resort? I imagine it would be costly, since I'm sure Disney would rather not have you leave their property!

Can someone tell me how this works? I have never had the desire to leave the property, so I have no clue.

I'm supposed to be the family Disney expert, so I need an answer quick!

Thanks!

We took a Mears shuttle go to Sea World from Dixie Landings (POR) in the fall of 2001. Guest Services at the resort arranged it for us & at the time I think it was around $13 round trip per person. I believe we gave them a return time in advance & a van was waiting in the Sea World parking lot. If you wanted to change the return time while at the park you just had to call Mears directly. It was easy & the service was good.

Lynx (public) buses depart from the Transportation & Ticket Center (I think every 30 minutes; #50 if I recall correctly - but you should doublecheck that) and run directly past Sea World's main parking lot. They are especially convenient to Sea World as no change of buses is required. The only downside is the time the last Lynx bus heads back to WDW if you stay out late.

You can use Disney transportation from the All-Stars to the MK, then monorail or ferry to the TTC.
