Ok... DH would like to know whether or not the buffets are one trip only. It's not because he's a huge eater. Really none of us are. He wanted me to ask because our DDprincess: is the "I want this...no I don't....I want that....no I don't....I want I had in the first place that you just threw away." type. LOL:) She's won't throw a fit or anything, we just wanted to know to avoid wasting food. I would hate to have to get a little bit of everything and then throw 2/3 rds away.

We probably go to the buffet 4 or 5 times!
1. salad
2. cold pasta's and fruit
3. ex. meat, mashed potatos, corn, mac and cheese
4. steak, ribs, green beans, rice, bread
5. dessert

This would be typical at our local Golden Corral!!

My kids are the same way which is why I love the buffet style dining at WDW! For what you pay, I want to make sure they actually eat something! :rotfl:

I do this with my 2 DDs- they get to pick a meat (chicken strips or ham or something) they get a small piece, then they get to pick 2 items to try and I put 2 things on their plates that I know they will eat, again very small amounts- usually they will want to try something like a taco, so I will get a shell and tear it in half and put a little meat, cheese, sour cream in it, then they will get corn and mac and cheese, they also may want to try some bourbon street chicken so just a few pieces. They can't get dessert until they eat their meat and the 2 items that I pick for them, anthing else is just what they wanted to try so it's no biggie if they don't eat it and it's a small amount anyway. They are very light eaters so if your DD is a big eater maybe a couple of more items to try, but just a teaspoon of this and that, definitely not a large amount!

The buffets and the family style dining are all you can it. When we ate at Liberty Tree we were able to get more of whatever we nedded same at Ohana's
