Question about Bounceback offers

Hey all!

I've always seen the bounceback offers in my Disney rooms, but knew I'd never be back for a trip during the appropriate time so never really bothered looking closer.

I'll be at WDW in May for Star Wars Weekends. What are the chances there'd be a bounceback offer for the beginning of December?

Are the bouncebacks generally better than any other promotion? Are they always room only or packages?

I'd love to take my Mom and son to WDW (short trip) during the Xmas season (son has a day off the first week of Dec usually) and major discounts are the only way I'd be able to do so seeing as it's the 2nd trip in a year.

(AP is an option. I've heard that if you're doing more than 10 park days in year it's better financially, but that's not what my math is telling me. Other option is to upgrade our May tix to non expiring 10 day but I haven't priced that out and if bounceback is a package that it would be unnecessary).

We were at WDW end of September and first few days of October in 2014. Our Bounce Back was for the same general time frame in 2015. I would think your Bounce Back offer will be for Spring of 2016 time.

It depends. When we have gone early in the year there have been offers for later that year. In fact some friends went last February and then again in the fall on a bounceback.

I think the later in the year you go the more limited the offers are.

Chances are good for a bounceback offer, but probably not for early December . We just got back Monday. The same bounceback has been offered for several months now & the only December dates are 11-23. Early December is becoming more popular plus the parade taping & Pop Warner & there seems to be less discounts last few years.
