Question about booking with pin.

I have a question about booking with a pin. I received the pin code with the 20% off value, 30% off moderate, and 40% off deluxe room only.

I saved a couple quotes on the phone with disney. I asked the last disney travel person if there was a better deal to come along, if I can cancel and take that new deal. He said NO! You have to modify your existing one. I'm confused. Does this mean that if the 4/3 is released or something similar over June that I can't opt out of this pincode?

I want to book with this pincode and still have to do a value becasue I can't afford the other ones. But if the 4/3 comes out I can do a moderate becasue it's cheaper! Would I be able to? Please help!!!

I don't know why he would say no.. but yes you can. AS long as there is availability at the resort you want to stay at. I booked before I got my pin and just added the pin now.. if the 4/3 comes out later on.. I will probably change to that since it would be a better deal for a deluxe. (I have heard its like 43% off)

SO YES, you can change your reservations.

I booked with my pin which was room only, but I added tickets so now it's a package. I hope the 4/3 gets extended, then I can stay at a moderate for the same price!

I had the 20/30/40 % off room for the pin for value, mod, deluxe. I still couldn't really afford doing moderate or deluxe with that pin, but hey atleast I'm going to disney! I only need a bed and a shower. LOL

He said NO! You have to modify your existing one.

What he meant is, no you don't need to cancel (because that involves a refund for your deposit) but all you have to do is MODIFY the existing reservation to the new offer. Like the pp said... there needs to be availability at the other resort for you to be able to do it. Basically if it is something like a 4/3 deal that is offered to the general public, and you call soon after it is released, then there shouldn't be a problem making the switch.
