Question about booking with combined banked points and same year points.

Hi all, we are not new to DVC (have been members since 2010) but we are new to banking points and booking a resort for next year using those points and next years points together. A little about ourselves, we have 2 home resorts SSR-150 points and BLT-100 points all bought through DVC and both resorts are in the same UY. We decided to not use our points this year because we would like to do a big trip next June. I have already banked our 250 points that we had for this year into next year so now we have 500 points that we will be able to play around with. We really want to book at BLT in a 2 bedroom Theme park view room, however this is where I am not too sure about. Could I still book this room category at 11 months out or do I have to wait for my 7 month window because I have 2 home resorts? If I can't do that, will I be able to use the 250 points that I banked for next year along with the 100 points that we have at BLT (next years points) which will give us 350 points to use for my 11 month booking? If my first thought could not work, I was checking the points chart and I noticed that I will be able to use all 350 points from my latter question to secure a 2 bedroom lake view villa and once my 7 month window opens up, hopefully I can switch it to a 2 bedroom Theme park view, of course if and only if there is availability, I would do it then. If anyone can help me understand this, I would greatly appreciate it.

You'll be able to use 200 points (100 banked BLT points plus 100 current BLT points) to book at BLT. If you really want, you could also borrow points from the following year's BLT allotment to give you 300 points total to book at BLT. Your SSR points (150 banked and 150 current) can only be used at BLT at 7 months.

Points are always tied to their home resort.

Thank you for the quick reply and for your help. I am so glad that I asked that question because I had no idea that I could only use 100 of the banked points and 100 of next years points, I just assumed that I would be able to use all of our 250 points (I should know better because you know what happens when you assume something )...I knew they were tied to their home resorts, but for some reason I thought since I am banking my points, we could automatically use them at our 11 month window. I learn something new everyday on these boards .
