Question about booking online room only versus calling CRO

My question is whether or not you have to pay your balance 45 days out when you book a room only reservation online. I know when you make a phone reservation the balance is due upon check-in, not 45 days out. Is that different when you book a room only (not package) by phone -- calling Central Reservations?

Payment is due the same whether you book on-line or by phone for a room only. The difference comes with a package. I booked a room only on-line and wasn't going to have to pay the balance until I arrived but then I changed to a package when the 4/3 deal came out so I ended up with the 45 day payment due date.

Everything is the same EXCEPT if you book a discounted room online (FL resident, AP, etc) then its 45 days, not 5.

For my families room only stay this August at the Contemporary we made the reservation online through the WDW website and paid the 1st night deposit right away over the computer.
