Question about booking Hotel Menage through Costco

Has anyone used Costco for the Menage? I did it despite the so-so reviews because it's a last minute trip and there weren't many other options from them. One of the knocks I've heard about is the $10 per night parking charge. When I booked on the Costco site, it specifically said "complimentary parking" with the package. I'm not sure if that's old info that hasn't been changed or if you do it through Costco, you actually get a parking pass or something. Does anyone know?

Sorry, no response about the parking situation.

Just wanted to give a heads up--we stayed here last year for a few nights. You are practically sleeping on the freeway onramp!
I am not joking when I say it was CLOSE to the freeway. Very loud. Very.

I won't stay there again. They try very, very hard to be swanky and adult. It's dark inside and practically anti-Disney. I bet you could get similar rates somewhere down Harbor Blvd, closer to Disneyland.

Yeah I can't say we haven't been warned about the noise at this place. But we thought it might actually work in our favor...see we have LOUD kids and everywhere we go we are constantly shushing them and worring about whether or not they are bothering people. So here, I figure their noise level will be drowned out by the freeway and pool noise! :thumbsup2

I was looking into that deal myself. I'm not booking it because I found out about the parking fee (now 12.00 from what I found out) and the internet fee of $10.00. From what I found out you still get charged the fee at the hotel even if you book through a site that says "free parking" The only one that will waive the parking fee (but only if you don't have a car) is the Red Lion.

The kicker for me though is the $50.00 per night deposit that they charge each night of your stay. So that nice cheap room just got a lot more expensive. :sad2: It does look like a pretty cool place though.
