Question about booking for September 7 (7 month window today)

Hi.

I wanted to book Friday, September 7 through Saturday, September 15 this morning.

I am only allowed to book one week at a time (I actually wasn't aware of this and called to confirm this morning). The CM told me I can call back tomorrow and book Saturday, September 15 and add to our existing reservation even though it is not February 15, is this correct and will my ressie be "as one" not two separate reservations?

I then thought about a different resort for September 7-15. But, when I went to book the resort, all days are available, with the exception of the first day, September 7. However September 8-14 is available.
I cannot book September 8-14 and waitlist September 7, it says I need to waitlist the full week even though I see availability. Is there a way to go around this and book September 8-14, with a waitlist for September 7.

You can only book 7 nights at the 11 and 7 month windows but can add the additional nights to the stay and it will just be one reservation. You won't be able to book a reservation starting on the 8th as that falls outside of the current 7 month booking window.

No. You cannot book Sept 8-14 today and waitlist the 7th. But you should do it tomorrow morning, first thing.

If you're adding additional nights you will need to call in at 9:00...if you are trying for a new reservation you can do that online at 8:00.

I would book the 9/8 dates at 8:00AM EST online tomorrow. For the 9/7 date I would check its availability every couple of hours for a day or two to see if anyone cancels, I would also do a waitlist for that date. If you get a match have MS combine it.

Thank you. This was the strategy I was using yesterday. I figured I could get a one/two bedroom if I really needed but really when I go with my mom, we don't use the extra space. We wanted to be in the BW area or monorail resorts and there was enough inventory available if I couldn't get BC.

I went on this morning to book Beach Club and not only was the Friday still not available, now the Saturday was not available either so I couldn't book since now the first two days weren't available and I'd have to WL and who knows if tomorrow, it would be Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I ended up booking the BW pool/garden view. I always have booked the BW view but none were available and really wanted to save the points if I could for the future.

We were at the Poly in September so figured the BW area will be a change this year but although we have stayed in the BC, we never have stayed in the BC Villas but guess we will need to wait for another trip. With F&W, I'm happy we were able to get this area anyway, since when we went last year, I was VERY unprepared and ended up walking around in circles looking for something to eat LOL

We enjoy the pool/garden view. Ask for upper floor facing the quiet pool. We could see Tower of Terror from there. Have a great trip!

Borrowed points can't be put back. You'll still have to use them by the end of your use year, so if you won't be able to use them before that, maybe you just enjoy that BWV studio

But if the points are the same, go for it. Set up the waitlist to replace the BWV reservation.
