Question about booking for 5... infant counts!?!

So I’m playing around with booking a room for April 2020 and I have a question about room occupancy. We have a 6 and 8 year old and a baby who is currently 2 months old. I thought that Disney didn’t count the occupancy of a child until they were 3? In other words, can I book any room that as two adults and 2 children? The Disney website is only showing me the availability of rooms that can have 5+ when I enter everyone in my family, including the infant. Can anyone help me out with this? TIA!

Do not add the child under 3, and you will be good to book rooms for 4. Once you have the reservation you can add the 3rd child.

My family was able to book at WL in a standard room when our youngest was under 3 and we're a family of 5. The standard view room occupancy is for 4. Once she was 3, the website wouldn't allow us to book standard view, so you should be able to book there.

It's a glitch. Either book for 4 and call to add the infant or simply call to make your reservation. Children under 3 do not count toward room occupancy at WDW resorts.

More accurately, one child under age three doesn't count toward room occupancy limits. Additional children in that age group do count.

Yep, if you have 2.5 yr old quads, you and spouse would be limited to rooms that sleep five or more. You are a party of five plus one under the age of three.
