Question about booking Fantasmic! dining package

Do they charge the full amount for dinner at the time you book or do they take say $20 per adult and $10 per child to hold it and then charge the full amount when you arrive? I've never done this before.

Unlike CRT, they don't charge anything to your credit card unless you don't show up.

i heard the same. I thought I had to pay in full in advance. When I made my PS they said no, they will charge $10 on your card if you DO NOT show up. I am concerned about the new kids pricing though. I made my arrangements a month ago for August. The kids price is $10.99 for brown derby. The adults is $36.99!!!! My 11 yo will never eat much and I would never pay that amount for him. To be honest, I feel that all reservations should be honored before July 1. If I were not on these boards I would have no way of knowing the price had gone up. I have budgeted for the price I was quoted. I fond it hard to believe that I will show up and they will ask me to pay that without giving notice. It isn't as if they are going to call all the PS guests they have an tell them so that they have the option of changing it! Okay, sorry, I'm ranting. I'll be quiet now!

Thanks for the replies! I booked it and wasn't charged.
As for the age thing aaaaaaaaagh! Rant away, I feel the same way. I hope they honor the price since we booked it before. I have an 11 year old too, he likes to eat, but definitely not that much! I haven't even mentioned it to Dh yet, I don't think he'll be to happy about that.
